
I’m a creative professional, operating between multiple disciplines, from interaction design and prototyping to motion visual graphics, branding, print design and illustration. I aim to produce concise, yet user-friendly designs, with an ultimate result of making the complex simple. My final designs must also balance the needs of the client and technology in order to create successful digital products and experiences.
As part of a design process, I connect with engineering teams in order to bridge the traditional chasm between developers, designers and the client; communicating on multiple levels via wireframes, mockups, demo’s and written specifications.
It is my passion to put dedication into the detail of design – without losing the overall scope of the project. I will also use different and innovative technologies in any ways available to create the best possible user experience and design solutions.

At BlackRock my time is split in leading and growing a global team of Product Designers, as well as providing e2e design as the Design Lead for one of the larger product initiatives. We have successfully launched a suite of applications for EII and BlackRock, as well as a design system to optimize and align our overall design language, components and patterns with design and engineering.
• Launched 7+ new web applications. For the internal and global/external institutional investors.
• Grew the global design team in San Francisco, New York, London and Budapest.
• Created the EII Design System, improving UX, product and engineering tracks.
• Promoted, measured and optimized alignment between UX and Engineering via OKRs and Agile methodology, improving product design quality & metrics.

Tasks: Creation of the brand-design, the mobile application structure and design. I was responsible for the overall product; from concept-brainstorming and creations of user-flows to design and development of graphical mockups, demo’s and pixel designs used for app development. What: Prototype for testing of a realtime budget differentiation tool for mortgages, following ING design guidelines.
Tasks: Responsible for technical production and development (flash). Including several brainstorms, user flow and wireframe production.
What: Application for live monitoring of tracks that dj’s are playing for rights management. With options for the tracks to be recorded and/or streamed.
Tasks: Design of application logo, the application graphical user interface and development of the (demo)app.
What: Creation of an highly interactive online magazine with articles ranging from health information and education, life-style, sport, traveling. Products were linked to the respective insurance companies.
Tasks: Responsible for the overall technical production and design, I also managed the design and development team and acted as bridge between the copywriters and the team. (4 issues created, ±16 pages per issue)
What: Creation of an highly interactive online magazine with articles ranging from live-style, gadget reviews, surveys and games covering aspects of a mobile connected world. Product placement in the magazine were linked Hi/KPN.
Tasks: Responsible for the overall technical production and design, I also was managing the design and development team and acted as bridge between the copywriters and the team. (16 issues were created, ± 12 pages per issue).
What: Creation of On-boarding program for new executives at ING.
Tasks: Responsible for brand design, style-guide creation and production of online and offline materials; consisting of a premium gift box to welcome the new employee with several tools, from an iPod filled with documents to a website and online course. [work-details]
What: Redesign of application suit of Medis Medical Imaging.
Tasks: Responsible for the overall design of icons and graphical user interface of the applications of Medis Medical Imaging, in close collaboration with developer team.
What: Introduction of the new car from Ferrari/Marlboro team in Dubai.
Tasks: Responsible for the creation of video-materials and live performance of motion graphic video for the launch events. (Duration: one month, four events in different venue’s and locations).
