I'm a design director and strategist with 20+ years of experience building design systems and digital experiences at world-class companies. Born in Amsterdam, I've spent the last decade split between San Francisco and Europe, working with teams at BlackRock, Intuit, Visa, Logitech, ASML and Kuehne+Nagel.

I believe great design at enterprise scale isn't about making beautiful pixels — it's about making complex systems so clear, trustworthy and delightful that they become invisible. I've built design teams from scratch, scaled them across continents, and led the creation of design systems that ship thousands of product updates a year.

My work spans interaction design, service design, design systems, research synthesis, and organisational scaling. I'm equally comfortable working in design-driven teams and driving design adoption in engineering-first cultures.
